Thrilling and bewildering game
Philippe looked at the skull again. He thought that the skull brought on bad luck and that it had to be returned to the place
from which it was originally taken. He did not doubt it for a second. Once the skull came into his hands for the second time,
he came to the conclusion that he should drive it to the section 15/23.
In Mihajlo Kazic's novel "Broken Journey", the story is about life and death. Or, in other words: about power and demise.
Even more, this fantastic novel is about the old myth, about the power of a dead hero's skull, about the power of the ominous
ring owned by the member of "Black Brotherhood" that wants to dominate the world.
It belongs to the category of fantastic short stories that allow time to tumble to the point where the reader does not know
what the past, the future, or the present is. The author began the refined, bewildering game that, as the story advanced,
got more fascinating and thrilling for the reader.
The reader confronts the fantastic world of dreams that becomes a dream and a nightmare. Old myths are those that will not
leave people alone even today. The Serbian author plays with it in a virtuoso way.
