Both my wife and I have found "Emperor of the Galatians"
captivating and have spent many hours discussing the allegory, symbolism and interdependence of the characters.
Truly, Mihajlo Kazic has produced an important work
with a powerful message.

The whole book has a very mystical tone, as if the characters
moved about in a fog or in the smoke of burning dreams. I was reminded of Fellini's "Satyricon" without the sex and
pretty minimal violence. I did get the feeling of us, as human beings, not knowing where we are going, thinking we are
surfers when we are actually drifters.
