Reality and illusion merge with one another in the life of the heroes who hasten precariously through the centuries, from
the Roman Empire to the present and back. Kazic, born in 1960, is a Serb living in the West. His offensive against the monitoring
mechanisms of the totalitarian Big Brother state is not specifically directed at Serbia. His thriller-like narration of events,
fortified with a strong dash of fantasy (probably inspired by Eco or Norfolk) unrolls almost like a film sequence, full of
confusing action dominance. This could provide entertainment for a wide readership, particularly as the well-known literary
toolbox of mystery (secret writing, double identities...) is well utilized.
